The Tomlin Flat Ballast Roller has been designed and robustly manufactured for use with compact, medium and large horsepower tractors. The roller is ideal for use by local authorities, landscapers, nurserymen and farmers. It is manufactured from good quality steel and are virtually maintenance free.

The Rollers are available with a choice of three-point linkage or drawbar, gang rolls can also be manufactured upon request. This gives a choice of weights through the range from 120kg to 5215kg.

The roller is manufactured to the highest specification with all the larger width models having split cylinders to avoid scrubbing the turf. All the cylinders are fully ballastable with either water, waste oil or sand. The split cylinder models are ground to ensure a tight fit between them. This, therefore, minimises the mark left on the turf between the cylinders. The cylinders rotate on heavy duty British-made RHP roller bearings, these bearings will give years of service. The bearings also make the rollers very easy to tow, this reduces horsepower requirements and avoids the risk of the tractor wheels spinning when it moves off from a static position.
