The Tomlin/Bruni Flail Hedgetrimmer has been designed for use with compact and larger horsepower tractors equipped with a 540 rpm power drive. It is ideal for use by local authorities, landscapers and farmers for trimming hedges, verges, ditches and general park areas. The flail is fitted with a floating 0.80m flailhead as standard, but can be fitted as an option for special applications with a cutter bar. The flail is manufactured to the highest specification using high quality steel, hydraulics, blades and bearings. The flail is quickly mounted onto the tractor's three point linkage. It requires no hydraulic supply from the tractor as this is provided independently, driven by the tractor's power drive. The flail is operated by a lever valve which is available with cable controls for tractors fitted with cabs. The flailhead's rotation can be changed by another lever valve, necessary when changing from cutting grass to hedges. The flailhead is fitted with an adjustable steel roller. The flail is protected against obstacles by a linkage mounted breakaway system.
