Kohler® and Kawasaki® Engines

The 400XT Series Garden Tractors are powered by a rugged single-cylinder Kohler® engine (GT410) and two twin-cylinder Kawasaki® engines (GT420 and GT430) that provide quiet operation, better fuel efficiency, and longer life.

Attach-A-Matic® Hitch System

Attach-A-Matic makes it simple to mount up most attachments and accessories without tools.

16" Turning Radius

Turn Tighter. Work Faster. The 400XT has the tightest turning radius of any garden tractor on the market. A small turning radius increases maneuverability, enabling you to work more efficiently.

Cruise Control

Choose the speed that's most comfortable to you. Optional on model GT410.

KeyChoice™ Reverse Operation

To improve the safety of our products without diminishing their performance, we have developed a new safety system for all of our tractors. The Key Choice™ system allows the operator to mow or operate attachments while in reverse if he or she feels that it is safe to do so (i.e. there is absolute certainty that no children will be in the area).

Mowing Decks

Patented Toro Recycler Cutting System cuts and recuts grass clippings, injecting fine particle deep into the lawn for a nutrient-rich mulch. Exclusive washout port provides an easy way to keep the deck bottom clean.
