This Harrier 48 Rear Roller Rotary has a Blade Brake Clutch incorporated into its design. This clutch mechanism can stop the cutterblade within 3 seconds without stopping the engine. A friction disc is not available on this model. The rear roller allows the machine to give the traditional striped finish and to cut over the lawn edge.
