The professional heavy-duty drop spreader function is the same as the DS36 but with important plus features. It has a larger capacity hopper with greater spread width. The DS42 is capable of many spreading tasks - fertilisers, seeds, herbicides and dy free flowing materials.

Stainless steel snap-off buttons, featuring precision- slitter slides with adjustable cam gauge to set the metering apparatus uniformly across the 42" hopper bottom.

Cleaning the DS42 is a simple task, no tools required. The holding bearings and rotors are held in place by simple wing nuts. A positive 'shut off' for turning and manoeuvring is easily reached from the tractor seat.

Optional Extra

Hand conversion for DS42 (Ref: HTDS). By attaching the hand conversion the spreader can be used as a push spreader, ideal in areas where a tractor is not accessible or detrimental to greassed surfaces.
